Flickr is an awesome online photosharing site that I've been a member of for a few years now. I got an email from a company wanting to purchase a photo I took a few years ago that they saw while surfing people's photos on Flickr. The photo will be used on a website for the new Kansas City division of their company. Of course I accepted their offer! I was surpised they chose the photo since it was when I was still using film and there is a bit of film grain. Given the opportunity to shoot the same photo now with our high end digital cameras and lenses I could do much better. However, it is always an honor to have someone recognize your work.
